If you are thinking about going down the baby led weaning route, this is the course for you. This course is designed to build your confidence about weaning and give you the tools to master the weaning process, therefore we will cover all the do's and dont's, suitable and unsuitable foods and all the nutritional aspects.
Our Baby Led Weaning classes are available in three different formats:
Baby Led Weaning Single Class:
The single class will cover all the basics and most important information you will need to start the baby led weaning process. We will cover first meals and portion sizes, an introduction to cutlery and how to deal with possible allergies. We will also discuss some easy recipes to create at home. This class will take place at our school kitchen.
Baby Led Weaning Private Class:
Our private class will cover all the same information and knowledge covered in the single class with the added advantage of taking place in the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice.
Baby Led Weaning 3 Class Course:
The course is divided in 3 classes (1 class a week) covering the following:
Class 1 - Introduction to Baby Led Weaning and first aid course. We have partnered with the amazing Carolyn at Daisy First Aid to create the perfect lesson for mums. The first aid course will help you boost your confidence and give you the tools to deal with any of the following emergencies: CPR and recovery position, choking, sepsis, meningitis, febrile seizures, head injuries, anaphylaxis, burns. Please note that this class is 2hr long and will need a minimum of 6 people.
Class 2 - First Meals, portion size, nutritional values and easy recipes to recreate at home for easy meals. You will also be able to take samples of the food we cook home to try.
Class 3 - Introducing cutlery, allergies, harmful foods. Easy recipes to recreate at home for snacks. You will also be able to take samples of the food we cook home to try.
