Class cancellations:

  • If you are unable to attend your class with Mummy's Little Chef, a minimum of 48 hours' notice will be necessary;

  • Payments for all classes are non-refundable if the minimum 48 hours' notice is not given;

  • In making a booking you are booking for a class at the time and date specified.  Any changes need to be notified in writing within 48 hours of the class;

  • If you are unable to attend a class, you can select someone to attend in your place, as long as you notify us in advance of this change, so that the necessary amendments can be made.

  • We reserve the right to change the content, subject, dates and times on any course without prior notification or consultation.

  • In the event a class is cancelled by Mummy's Little Chef, you will receive a full refund or a space on another class (based on your preference);

  • Food cooked in the lesson may be eaten on the premises or taken away with you in the containers provided;

  • Mummy's Little chef will give clear instructions on how to store and cook the food you take away but it is your responsibility to make sure that you follow these instructions. Mummy's Little Chef will not accept any responsibility for damaged or ill prepared food once it leaves our premises; 

Food Allergies and Intolerances

  • We do our best to cater for everyone and in case of allergies or intolerances we are happy to adapt our recipes as long as we are told in advance. We must let you know that as we use some potentially allergenic ingredients, like nuts, flour, etc, in our day to day operations, we cannot guarantee an allergen trace free kitchen.

Privacy Policy

What information is collected by Mummy’s Little Chef and how is it used?

We use the information we collect when a customer books a lesson generally to reserve the space in the chosen lesson, to process the payment information and to generate a booking confirmation.

We also use this information to communicate with you (via phone or e-mail) and provide you with information about our lessons and potential offers, though our mailing list (from which you can opt-out at any time using the link at the bottom of every e-mail).

Additionally, we use the information collected to improve and optimize our website, to evaluate the success of our marketing campaigns (though our website, Facebook, Instagram, MailChimp or any other social media platform) and generally to develop and improve our website.


How long do we store your data?

UK Tax law requires us to store your basic personal data, such as name address and contact details, for 6 years after which it will be destroyed.

Information and contact details held for marketing purposes is only stored by us until you inform us that you no longer wish to be contacted.

Sharing your data

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

This does not include any third party that assists us in operating our website, such as website hosting partners, processing payments or running marketing campaigns.  We use Wix to create, host and run our website and also to run our marketing campaigns.  To find out how Wix handles your information please review sections 8, 12 and 13 of Wix’s privacy policy.  Worldpay is used to process your payment information and to collect payments so if you would like to find out how they handle your information please also review Worldpay’s privacy policy. We also use Google myBusiness to help us analyse our website traffic, to improve and optimise our site.


Storage of personal and payment data

In operating our business via our website, all data collected is handled by Wix andWorldpay UK.

Although we do not operate our own servers no third party (with the exclusion of the ones mentioned above) shall have access to your data unless the law allows them to do so.

Although we do our best to make sure our server host is secure and fully accredited we cannot be responsible for any illegal breaches that may occur.

We do not store nor share our customer’s payment card details.

Occasionally we may share links to third parties but this does not mean that we endorse or approve of that sites specific privacy terms towards their visitors. You should always review their privacy statement before sending them any personal data.


Use of Cookies

How to opt-out, delete or modify information we store

If you would like to stop receiving our newsletters or marketing campaigns please click on the “unsubscribe” button on the bottom of the e-mails.

If you would like to view, modify or have us delete the information you supplied us when booking a class, please e-mail us and we will do so for you.  Please keep in mind that for UK tax purposes we will have to store information on individual sales transactions for 6 years.

If you are not satisfied with how your personal data has been handled please contact us directly and we will look into the matter immediately.  If you then still think your personal data is not being handled according to the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
